Percy Jackson is just a mere teenager that has to go through the awkward stages of finding a girl and worrying about whether he looks cool or not. But what you don't know just by looking at him is that he is also a child of Poseidon, God of the sea. That's right, Poseidon. Percy Jackson is a demigod and now only does he have all the emotional turmoil of being a teenager but he also has to deal with fighting mythical monsters from a Greek text book and worrying about stopping Kronos from rising.
The Titan Lord Kronos? Yes. He has risen again with the oh so helpful hand of Luke Castello, a child of Hermes. Luke hates the Olympians and wishes to see Olympus fall before him at the hands of Kronos. He wants to see his own father broken and beaten and on his hands and knees as he begs for his life. Because Luke's hate is so strong he decided to take up something he could never handle – rising the old Titan from Tartarus and creating a team of monsters and demigods that have turned their backs on their parents. With each new member Kronos rises; now he is on the horizon with his fellow comrade Titans, all of them heading for Olympus, which is in New York.
Mortals and demigods alike will die, monsters will pop forth from Hell and fight to bring down Olympus, or maybe save it. Children of the Olympians will turn against their brethren to defend the side they believe in.
There will be blood. There will be anger.
What side do you choose?
