I mean, I can read it, and I can speak it. So reason stands that it is not the Tao. Therefore this is a pointless assignment, and we shouldn't have to read it. It's not like we are learning the Tao, because the Tao is not the Tao."
  
• -online with a friend complain about everyone bothering them- "Babe, I wouldn't be complaining. Some people haven't got any friends. I'm not saying I'm one of them. You and I both know I have plenty of friends. But that is not my point. My point is, some people don't have any, and they would love to be in your shoes. • Little Tomato- "Okay, so this may make no sense to you, but it makes sense to me. Basically, one of my friends found this album called Hang on Little Tomato, and on this album, there is a song named Lily, so said friend decided to call me Little Tomato from that moment forward."
  
• Short Stack - "So again, rather random, but it makes sense if you know the story behind it. So, out of all my old friends, I was the shortest one in the group. It also comes from my love of pancakes, and while I can eat a lot, someone figured it be funny if they called me short stack. I also have a friend we call tall stack, cause he's really tall, and also loves pancakes."

• Her pet raccoon - "I have what I consider to be the most unusual pet ever. But that's to be expected I suppose. I am a rather odd girl. I have a pet raccoon. See, I told you it was odd. Anyway, his name is Bandit, which I suppose would be ordinary. It’s not my fault though. Addy, my little sister named him. Anyway, out of everything in my life right now, Bandit is the most amazing. I take him in constantly for shots and stuff. He's very tame, I promise. In fact, he sleeps at my feet most nights. "

entry 1:
This is so odd. Not that I mind. I like odd. But still. I never saw myself as the type to need to vent to a book. But I suppose being new in town, and not having any friends, does that to you. Yes, I did say I'm new in town. What town? Tulsa, Oklahoma. I moved from the city of Atlanta. Georgia, where my little sister was born. Before that, we lived in Milton, Floridia, and before that it was Corpus Christi, Texas, which is where I was born. Yes we moved a lot. What can I say? My parents were in the military, so we moved about once every three years, give or take a few months. However, my parents were able to stop being active duty military, so the did, and we moved to Tulsa, as that's where my father was from. Anyway, a little bit about me. My name is Cecilia, although no one calls me that. Everyone calls me Lily. I'm ten, but I'm smart for my age. I have a two year old little sister, named Addy, who I love to bits and pieces. I would do anything for her. I think I hear momma calling for me. I'll be back later.

I started school today. It was pretty good. I have a nice teacher, and I made a lot of friends. They were all pretty interested in all the places I lived. But there was this girl named Minnie, a guy named Spencer, though I just started calling him Spence, and two other dudes named Mikey and Percy. How lame of a name is that? Percy. Although everyone who I gravitated to were really nice, and seemed to like me. We're actually planning on hanging out this weekend. That is, if my momma and daddy would let us. Here's to making new friends, and feeling welcome an such.

entry 24:
Oh wow. It's been a while. I mean, it's been three years since I first wrote to you, and I haven’t written for ages. But I just had to tell someone about the awesome prank me and the rest of foxeh five pulled today. It was epic. Someone had the idea to teach fish, how to fly. We took little voice boxes and recorded us saying the most random things in the most random voices ever. Then we through them at random people as they started to walk into the school. Thank goodness for roofs. The faces were priceless. Well, my crazy brain is tired. Night.

entry 42:
It's my birthday today. Addy gave me the most amazing ever! She gave me a raccoon. His name is Bandit. I know, the name is lame, but Addy is only seven, and seven year old kiddies don't really have much creativity about them. Why did she name it? Cause I wanted her too. It was still really sweet of her. Momma helped her a little, taking her to go find someone that sold tame raccoons. You're wondering why I love the fact that she gave me raccoon aren't you? Well, my favorite movie when I was little was Pocahontas, and I loved Meeko, the raccoon character, and always wanted a pet raccoon. So it's kind of sweet that she remembered that. Because Momma said she came up with the idea all by herself. Well, either way it was sweet. Bandit's had a long day though. I'm going to watch him take a nap, and take some pictures with the camera I got. That's right. I got a camera too. It's really nice, and I'm kind of excited to start playing with it. Well, anyway, later.

entry 67:
I'm in a total panic. I went to school today, and just as I was walking into the front door, a tracker came and marked me. Luckily, I didn't have to stay. In fact, momma took me home, I packed some of my things, and we drove on down to the House of Night. Meera, the High Priestess (which is something like a principle) was really nice. I got to change my name. No longer am I Cecilia. I am now known as Lily. That's my full first name. I have yet to meet my roommate. I assume she's out doing whatever exactly she does. So far things are good. I'm going to miss my friends though. But I'm sure I'll make new ones. It can't be too bad. Oh. Bandit's ear's just pricked. I'm thinking he heard the door. Maybe it's this mysterious roommate of mine. Later.

entry 74:
I thought I'd take the time to write something down in you one last time. I'm also taking a break. From what? Moving a few boxes. Why? Well, once again, I'm moving. Not to another state this time though. Simple down the hall. Luckily, I don't have much stuff, so it won't take too long. Why am I moving? Well, my roommate went through the change a few weeks ago, and I met this girl who had hers reject it a few weeks ago. So we're both roommate-less. Therefore, I decided I would solve the problem and move into her room. Problem solved. I got permission and everything, so it's not a huge deal. And that way, two new kids can room together or something. It works well huh?
