THE CHANGE
The change occurs to each fledgling at different points in their final year at The House of Night. It begins with a searing pain that practically cripples the body. The fledgling will continue to feel pain until the process is complete. There are no real visible signs of the change happening other than their mark changing. Each Vampyre has their own individual mark, as well as the crescent moon filling in.

PHYSICAL DIFFERENCES
The way a vampyre looks is not much different from the way they looked as a fledgling, or a human for that matter. The biggest difference is that an adult vampyre has a completely filled in mark. The filling is the same blue color as their original outline. Coming off of the basic mark, are additions. These additions vary from vampyre to vampyre. They are typically elegant and look like works of art. Though both fledglings and vampyres are beautiful, it should also be noted that an adult vampyre is such to more of an extreme. Adding to this beauty is a certain glow.Their hair and nails are still very long, and very strong, as are their bodies.
