Summary :
Strife and trouble have always plagued Libertas ever since its conception. Having fled its mother Weyr, Amaris, for the differences caused by strange, mutated ranks, the dragons that settled on the eastern coast of the Southern continent have lived a life apart from all, cut off from any other weyr. So it has lasted for over two hundred turns, but the hatred that had burned never died, and so Libertas is once more under siege... Amaris seeks to destroy everything different, while at the same time keeping up a facade of peace, but of course the distant weyr is not the only enemy... Weyrlings have been stolen by a strange band of what appear to be dragonriders, wild whers stalk the outer edges of Libertas territory, the one major Hold has begun turning its back after their Lord Holder was 'stolen', only to become a weyrling in Libertas' service, and even the weather has become something crushing, frightening... Where once balmy summers and warm winters reigned, now the world is choked in ice and snow, a seemingly dire prediction for Libertas' future... Where will you stand in the fight for survival?

What We Have To Offer :
-History and Selection: Having been open over three years in its two different incarnations, Libertas Weyr is one of the oldest and most active of the currently open non-canon weyrs. Originally begun as Libertas Weyr, Libertas Renatus offers a wide variety of plots and activity to members of all skill levels and playing choices, run by an active and helpful admin staff.
-Plot Line : With a well established back story and plot-line, its easy to get into the swing of just what's going around at Libertas, and there is constant potential for plots, both minor and major.
-Sport Ranks : Libertas sports five unique sport ranks, common in the weyr itself. Clutch capable females Obsidians and Rubies, male Platinums, as well as the dual gendered Blacks and Reds offer a more rounded selection for any incoming member.
-New Pets : Crawlers and Waterlizards are both unique to Libertas pet breeds, adding more variety than just plain old Firelizards.
-Monthly Contests : Every month a new contest is featured at Libertas Weyr, offering various unique prizes as well as marks, ranging from the simple advertisement contests to anything such as clutch creation.
-Regular Hatchings : At Libertas Weyr, hatchings occur with regular frequency. Whether you're going for a dragon, a wher, or just a pet, you won't have to wait very long for a chance at Impression.
-Fully Stocked Shop : With everything available from clutching females to rare mutation colors, as well as HAD's, Bronze or White Impressions, and chances at a Pet, the Libertas Shop is the one place to spend your hard earned marks.
-Support System : Soon to be implemented at Libertas Weyr, the Greeting Guides will feature several active and helpful members to help out with questions and roleplays with new members. Their entire job is to give each brand new member a fun and easy entry into our world!
-Frequent Plots and Events : Want to join in on weyr-wide plots or events? Libertas features several of these, including Threadfalls, Gathers, and the newly added Masquerade (running throughout the month of November) for its members. Next to be added will be Great Hunts, for War Hounds and Wherhandlers, giving them all a chance to stretch their legs.
-Achievements and Explorations : Two ways to earn marks, as well as make it easier to find people to post and thread with, Achievements and Explorations are fun and have differing degrees of difficulty.
