A FEW FACTS ABOUT JOSHUA:

• He's a bookworm. Name a book, he's probably read it.
  
• He's very blunt when it comes to his opinion - he'll tell you if you look fat, believe me. And when someone gets offended, he's baffled in response. ("Why are you so mad? You asked me what I thought!")
  
• He adores animals - especially cats, the poor boy. His own at home's about the only one that can still stand to be around him, lately. He's also vegetarian, for the stated reason. ("Loving and animal and eating one for dinner... that lines not fine - it's thick as fuck.")
  
• He has a horrible problem with his temper, and has lost many friends because of it. When set off, he'll find every available flaw you have and point it out brutally - gaining him many enemies. True friends, however, are usually safe.
  
• Vanity. He definitely has it. The boy's very meticulous about his appearance, and if he thinks even a hair is out of place, it'll drive him mental. He also thinks that he's pretty amazing - the Marking came with a boatload of self-confidence, in his case.
  
• His sense of humor, while often dry and sarcastic, is a great one. He loves being a trouble-maker and getting up to tons of dares and pranks with his best friends - he definitely knows how to have a good time. Erm, at others expenses... but hey, as long as his friends are laughing, that's good enough for him.
  

Friends. I don't expect he'll have very many of them, but with those he does bond with, it'll be a very tight relationship. He's insanely loyal to the few people that put up with him on a daily basis, and he would quite literally jump off a bridge for them if he thought it'd do any amount of good. He's a great guy to be around once you've given him time to open up to you, and a good source of humor, albeit of the sardonic and dry kind.

Family. Uh, no. They're human anyways, haha.

Enemies. Joshua likely has quite a lot of those - especially with the regular fledglings that criticize his kind and whatnot. He's a proud Mist fledgling, and he'll give you a nice punch to the face if you insult him. Capiche? Other than that, it's not hard to get on his bad side regardless - aforementioned, he's got a bit of a temper. Say the wrong thing, and he'll definitely hold a grudge.

Lovers? I'm not looking for a solid relationship just yet - he's not really the type for commitment, the girl has to be of a special kind xD He's - ahem - a little bit on the wild side when it comes to sleeping around, however. Call him a manwhore if you want, but he enjoys intimacy and its benefits. Probably have been a lot of one-night stands and short flings in his past. He's getting a bit more mature lately, and it's calmed a bit, but he'll still have the occasional one-nighter.

I can already see them somewhat getting along, they both like books, and they both aren't afraid to be blunt. plus since josh is a mist so she will always be there for him. oh i saw that he likes snakes, and since she has an affinity for snakes, they also have that in common.

so i can see them being friends just because of how much they have in common. she also has a piercing in her nose like him except, she only has one.

i can also see them getting on each others nerves in a brotherly, sisterly kind of way, they confined in each other, but since they are so blunt the could get on each others nerves, and maybe the way Dakota see's herself could annoy Joshua when she really becomes a bitch, or when she takes the role of a leader to far, but she's Dakota and that is what she does, plus she's good at it.

Works for me! He probably wouldn't accept her as a 'leader' sort of role, he's a pretty independent guy and would see her as an equal, not a superior, regardless of what she did with that information. But he wouldn't go out of his way to irritate her with it - he'd basically be like, "Yeah, I get that you like leading, but I hate following. Too bad." xD Then stick out his tongue to show that he didn't mean it offensively, that that's just... him. Of course, for some things he'd made exceptions if "her way" made logical sense, but he's definitely not a natural follower.

The brother/sister annoyance thing sounds great xD And I think he might trust her with a few things enough to confide in her, as long as she doesn't show signs of being a gossip.

And oh my goodness, they're both afraid of deep water! LOL That could be amusing, if they figured that out. He's terrified of it, hahaha.

she doesn't like to gossip, unless she is back-stabbed, she loves to hear gossip. and really both of them are afraid deep water sweet. so yeah starting a thread would be great who do you want to start it.
