So, here's my little Stark babeh. He's a nineteen year old sixth former with an affinity for acute accuracy. It's a well known fact that James Stark is the best archer in the world after beating out fully Changed vampyres at the Summer Games. However, after accidentally killing his mentor/best friend at said games, he's sworn off competing and just goes by 'Stark'. Now, after being transferred from his House of Night in Chicago, he attends the one in Tulsa. Currently, he's the new, mysterious kid that has a large golden Lab as a companion as opposed to your typical cat. Not many know much about him except that he's new and seems to flip the world off with his mannerisms -- he'd like to keep it that way. My babeh Dylan is a fourth former mist fledgling born and raised in a rich family on the streets of New York City. His childhood was filled with him getting into fights nearly every week and getting expelled from several different schools in the process. That being the case it's been difficult for him to keep any one particular group of friends. Eventually his family was moved to Oklahoma to avoid him further 'ruining the family's image', as his mother saw it. Naturally, it was a few years after moving that he was Marked and began attending the HoN. Being the brother of two younger siblings -- Julian and Daria -- Dylan is soft, sweet and a complete fluffball on the inside. He can be a complete goofball and loves to joke around with his friends, and get his boo boos patched up by the ladies. Due to the natural born fighter that he is, the boy is competitive as hell and loves getting into physical fights rather than talking things out. Where to begin with my Little Ash? She's an eighteen year old mist fledgling and a native Oakie. She was raised in a very religious home by parents who believed anything too out of the ordinary to be demonic interference. Somehow she managed to make it out of there with her own views on life intact, and strangely enough, an atheist. All her life she's always been a dreamer, the sort of girl who gazes off into space, entering her own world and leaving everyone else behind. As a child she was often picked on for stupid reasons, and thanks to her brother always standing up for her (and torturing her by right of sibling passage) she was able to grow some backbone. It may be because of her bluntly honest, and bold ways that the only two best friends she has ever had are her brother and his friend Jourdin, both still humans. So at the HoN she feels more alone than she should, but she's bound to find herself a tight knit group a friends (and some enemies) amongst this crowd. first off, lucy and stark. I actually think lucy would like stark, how strange! I feel like their first meeting would be something like this: Lucy: "I hear you're good at archery. I suck. Teach me!" and leave him with no option but to teach her xD other than that, lucy likes people that can hold their own and don't care what people think about them. Soo, her and stark would probably be friends?

Now lucy and dylan. They're both misties, woo! lucy would probably find him a bit annoying because he's so comedic, but otherwise she wouldn't have anything against him. lucy can be quite competitive also, so I feel like they would end up facing off at some point xD

Stark && Lucy ;

Stark isn't the easiest friend to make, since he always seems to reluctant to actually get past being just acquaintances with most folk. And seeing as bringing up his skills at archery is usually the opener people like to use with him he might be a bit meh about her at first. Until she throws in that bit about forcing him to teach her of course ;D. That would surprise him, it's better than idolizing or asking a zillion questions he doesn't wanna answer. So I can see him actually taking her up on that and getting to know her during the process. Therefore friends sounds good. A thread for the epic archery teaching might be in order. :p

Dilly && Lucy ;

Seeing as Dilly isn't one of those chauvinistic dudes who believe a woman's only place is in the kitchen or the bedroom, I think he'd happily participate in hundreds of little competitions with her. I can see them getting riled up like "I can eat more cupcakes than you" or "I'll kick your ass at fencing" and just being the sort who always compete with one another for the hell of it. Besides it being fun, it always feels good to be on top. So how about a sort of good-spirited rivalry between the two? Maybe she'll notice how he's always in fights or going through with challenges and decides she wants to try and beat him at things because one; he annoys her a bit and two; a girl putting him in his place would be what he needs?

RAWR! There's no Lankford, and who likes going so strictly by books anyway? I say, Artemis HAS to be his mentor! He would respect the hell out of her but still have a pretty chill relationship with her, like an older sister/advisor. She'd likely be the one he'd go to to talk about what happened during the Summer Games and how he feels about still practicing archery. She's definitely gonna be his fave out of all the professors. A woman who can kick ass and is cool as hell? He loves her and he loves the idea of it.

A girl that knows how to get into fun and amusing trouble are the sort that he loves to have around. I can definitely see them sneaking around and getting into shit together then laughing like crazy about it back in one of their dorm rooms later. I also see that she's originally from France, does this mean that she has an accent? Dylan LOVES attractive girls with sexy accents lol. Anyway, whether she does or doesn't, I think casual flirting and a fling would be great. Though admittedly he might secretly be more into it than he normally would for the sole purpose of pissing off Delilah. Then feel awful after the fact if feelings get involved. Otherwise, he'll be very flirty and sweet with her. So, partners in crime/good friends? Definitely. Flirty flings and all that messy stuff? Of course. And sure, we can thread once all of this okay'ed.

Stark doesn't care one way or another whether or not someone likes him, because the truth is he that he likely doesn't care much for them either or doesn't notice them. In this case I don't think Stark would be particularly bothered by Josh, he has no reason to be. He'd just be one of the guys he's seen around the school before. BUT if a reason for the two to really dislike/hate one another comes up later that's be fun :3 For now though, mutual indifference and 'hey it's that one guy' sort of relationship.

Dilly && Josh ;

Wheeeee, Dilly needs a male friend as well lol. Both Misties, both chill with the same crowd... I think they should be really great friends. The sort that back one another up in situations, go along with each other's jokes and add on to them, throw dual get-togethers and invite all of their lady friends (until they get more guy friends to goof around with lol). While on the subject, I feel like if/when we do thread it should be one of those get together threads. A sneaking off campus and having fun or causing trouble in the town with friends thread.

Right now I don't have any thoughts for these two. Yeah, they'll definitely know one another, and he likely thinks that she's strange in a quirky and cool sort of way. But aside from that I have no real ideas about the two yet.

Dilly && Lily ;

I think the two would hang around each other often enough for the reason that you stated. Besides, she's awesome and Dilly hearts both her and Bandit. If they do get into arguments with one another -- likely over silly things -- the temper tantrums probably won't last long but might be funny. Being how he is Dilly might cave in first and bake her sweets to make up for yelling or whatever it is he may have done. Who can stay mad at Lily after all? :p Annnd as for threading, if that thread I mentioned above for Josh and Dilly outing happens, I think Lily (and Bandit and Lilah of course) should tag along. Fun times.
