PERSONALITY
likes:
1. Reading: Seth reads because he prefers the fantasy of a book over the reality of his own life. When he reads he becomes enveloped in the book to where he nearly blocks out everything around him.
2. Working Out: Seth see’s his body as a temple, one that must be kept clean and fit for any situation. He works hard to keep his body in working shape, especially preparing for the change.
3. Flirting: As quiet and withdrawn as he is he can never pass up the chance to flirt with a girl. He doesn’t do it out of spite or anything of the sort, he merely does it because he wants to.
4. Fencing: Seth has always had a dread fascination with swords and all things pertaining to them. He has a deep love for sword fighting and thus a deep love for fencing.
5. Horse Riding: Before the accident his family often when horse riding together, this is one of the few things he holds dear to his heart. Whenever he rides his horse he is reminded of home and family.
dislikes:
1. Lying: Seth always feels guilty about lying, and even if he tries to lie it always seems to be a dumb lie, One that anyone can see through. He also hates liars, and if someone does lie to him he tends to hold a grudge.
2. His Human Family: After the death of his parents and brother Seth was pushed by his other family members into a Military Academy in America, this was used to keep him away while they used up his parent’s fortune.
3. Blind Loyalty: Seth would never openly give himself to anyone or anything. He is defiant to all forms of authority. Thus anyone who follows rules to the letter aggravate him, and brownnosers disgust him.
4. Poetry: Although Seth loves to read he has no ear for poetry, it sounds like nothing but random words made into rhymes with him. He has no respect for poets and would rather hurl himself out of a building than listen to someone read it.
5. Reptiles: Seth has never enjoyed reptiles which tends to unravel him seeing as hoe Mist Fledglings are chosen by Snakes. He prefers all kinds of Canine to Reptiles.
strengths:
1. Linguist: Seth learned a lot of different languages due to his families banishment of him. He isn’t fluent but he can speak Irish, English, Spanish, French, and German. (All spoke with his Irish Accent included)
2. Sword Master: Seth trained with swords his whole life, he has been in several competitions and won all of them. He is very proud of this gift.
3. Horse Rider: I want to say this is a strength merely because he CAN do it. He doesn’t fall off of the horse and he knows how to properly kit the horse for long distance and short distance riding.
4. Strength: Seth his strong enough that he can take care of himself and others. He trains his body constantly for any form of threat.
weaknesses:
1. His Past: Setheus is haunted by the fact that he may be the cause of his family’s death. He constantly doubts himself on things and tends to keep others at arms length so as not to endanger them.
2. Loner: Seth tries his hardest not to get close with most people, preferring to be alone. He does this to protect them and himself from being hurt.
3. Darkness: Seth is fine with being a creature of the night, he welcomes it. He has always seen himself as something horrid and the fact that he is now a Child of the Mist merely gives him more proof of the monster inside him.
4. Dogs: Not a very big weakness but one nonetheless. Seth has a deep affection for dogs and has a tendency to try to help them out whenever he can.

1. Himself: Seth lives in constant fear that he really is what he has always thought of himself as. A murdering monster. He lives with this fear everyday of his life.
2. The Goddess Achlys: The idea that a goddess would choose him to be her child scares him. He thinks that if she wanted him to be her child then she has a plan for him. And knowing his past and the skills he has, he worries about what that plan might be.

1. Being a Warrior: Despite all his fears and weaknesses Seth Dreams of war. He dreams of leading thousands into battle for a cause that he chooses to believe in. He dreams of fighting on the battlefield to either victory or death.
2. Recognition: He dreams of the day that he can truly know that he isn’t the monster he thinks he is. When he can open himself up to the world without fear of the consequences.

1. Reading: He reads a lot, as I stated in the Likes. He can’t help it, the fantasy of a book offers a distraction from reality.
2. Fencing: Always loved swords and thus Fencing is an outlet for him to let out all the bottled up emotions he carries.
3. Horse Riding: He loves riding horses because they remind him of the good times in his past.

1. Pacing: Seth will always pace when he is frustrated or nervous, it allows his body to be active just like his mind.
2. Counting: for some odd reason Seth will count things around him, the number of snakes in the halls, the steps he takes on his way to class, the number of blondes in the school.

overallhistory: Setheus was born in Clare, Ireland to Martin and Gabrielle Danvers. They had lived a good life, constantly happy due to their bountiful wealth. However along with their luxury they lived in modesty. Preferring to live on a small ranch rather than the big city. He was born Seth Danvers, younger brother of Ashe Danvers. As he grew up he was taught to be better than he was. He was taught several languages as well as Horse Riding and Sword Fighting. These were things that could define him as a man, according to his father. He took the ideals to the max with his older brother always being a step ahead. As time continued they rarely left the ranch, despite Seth’s growing curiosity of the world outside. He constantly badgered them about taking him to the city. However his parent’s would never give into his protests. Instead the distracted him by giving him gifts, the most important being a wolf pup that he named Raiden.

Finally his mother offered a solution, if he would learn how to cook his own meals then they would take him to the city. Seth dedicated himself to learning. His brother eventually returned from a trip to the city and filled his head with stories of how great it was. This led to Seth becoming desperate to go. One night his mother found him trying to cook something on the stove. She badgered him about not telling someone what he was doing and ordered him to go feed the horses as punishment. He slouched his head and did as commanded. He always did this to trick her, he loved feeding the horses. As he was out loading the feed into the horse’s feeder the house suddenly began to smoke. A million thoughts sunk into Seth’s head. Did he leave the stove on? Had something been left near the stove to catch fire? He rushed to the house to erase the evidence of his mistake, suddenly the house exploded into flames, a single hot piece of metal flew toward him. He barely managed to fall backwards before being killed. Blood feel down his face as he realized the metal had cut him. He rose up to look at his burning home. Suddenly a single thought went through his head. Did I leave the gas on? In that moment he blacked out. When he finally woke he was in a hospital hooked up to monitors and IV’s. He was met by a business woman who told him that his parent’s and brother were killed in the fire. He broke down beneath his sorrow.

Over the next few weeks he was delivered to his Aunt and Uncle in the city. He had finally gotten his wish to see it, and yet without his family it held no glamour or wonder to him. When he finally arrived to his Uncle’s estate he learned that his life would not get easier. His Aunt and Uncle put on the guise of a loving couple distraught over their family’s death, however in private they scorned him and accused him of killing them. They locked him into their own private library to hide him from the public. This however merely opened Seth up to the beauty of books. He began to read every day and night. Eventually he grew tired of his treatment and ran away. As he made his way through the streets of the city he came upon a small mugger. The man grabbed him from the street and tried to rob him. Seth suddenly saw the faces of his parent’s and lunged at the mugger. At the age of thirteen Seth killed a man. The police claimed it was self defense and he was returned to the care of his aunt and uncle. They accused him of killing again, of being a murderer who just couldn’t get enough blood on his hands. Seth slowly began to withdraw from the world.

At the age of fourteen his aunt and uncle saw fit to send him to a Military Academy in America. While here he spent the next three years learning all he could about the military. He learned strategy, politics, and weaponry. He immersed himself in the knowledge they offered but remained withdrawn from everyone. At the age of seventeen he was marked by the Goddess Achlys. With this his life changed, but not as much as it should have. With no form of recognition his aunt and uncle made arrangements for him to be moved to The House of Night. Now he lives with the idea that he might truly be a monster. A vampire who feeds on the blood of humans, this idea fills him with regret over his past and causes him to withdraw from those around him. Now he pushes himself to become a full vampire and to merely get through this next stage of his life. As long as he can survive he doesn’t care about anything else anymore. However even with the thoughts of survival there is always a nagging thought that perhaps this is where he has always belonged. With his new mark he begins his new life. And thus he is reminded of his family’s history as great warriors in the past. He takes up his family’s ancestral name as well as his brother’s he is now Setheus Ashe McPhail.

i noticed two things you need to fix right off the bat. the first is your app format. we got a new one during the revamp. you also need to fix your title, so that it is in the correct format. it should be last, first middle all in lowercase. just as a note, your name also needs to be in all lowercase.

he's seventeen and in third form. that's not possible. to be in third form, he would need to be sixteen. so you'll either need to bump his form, or lower his age.

his likes and dislikes work. however, his strengths and weakness bother me. he's a sword master, which is rather odd for someone at 17. it takes far longer than 17 years to master sword usage. not only this, but he knows five languages. not only does this feel very sue-ish, but very few people know that many languages, fluent or not. also, very few people, irish or not, know irish. also, a sad past is not a weakness. darkness and dogs really aren't either. we're looking for personality flaws. those listed above are better fitted for likes or dislikes.

onto his history. it's far too dramatic. we generally look down upon overly dramatic histories. the family all dying in a tragic fire and being sent away so the family he's sent to can use all his parents money, reminds me an awful lot of the series of unfortunate events. and again, overall his history is far too dramatic.

so make the switch in app formats, fix his strengths/weakness, and tone his history down and you should be okay.
