"The name's Briar Medea Blake. I changed it from my old name because it was stupid. My first name, Briar, is just because I like it. Second, Medea was a witch who left trails of dead bodies behind her, and Blake means Dark, Black, etcetra."

"I'm twenty-one, I was born on Halloween. Pretty cool, huh?"

WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
"British Columbia, Canada, originally. I moved to Tusla when I became a fledgling because my parents were ashamed of me, they didn't want anyone to know."

WHAT IS YOUR JOB?
"I teach Dance in Tusla at the House of Night."

THAT'S COOL, SO DO YOU HAVE AN AFFINITY?"
"Yeah, I have an Affinity for dance, that's why I chose to teach it, because I'm so good." (( If there are no Affinity's for Mist children, ignore this. ))

"I'm a bit taller then average, at five foot seven. I weigh a bit less then I should, though."

"I like both, but for some reason I prefer girls."

"I'm good at being a bitch, and kicking ass, kicking ass while fencing or not."

DO YOU HAVE ANY SIBLINGS?
"Yeah. I don't know if she'll get marked or not, but she's pretty pissed my parents acted the way they did. So she moved to Tusla, to live with my Aunt, and comes to visit me every-now and then."

TELL ME ABOUT A REALLY GOOD TIME IN YOUR LIFE.
"Getting the hell out of Canada."

THAT SOUNDS AWESOME. WHAT ABOUT A NOT-SO-GOOD TIME ON YOUR LIFE?
"Getting raped by my so called 'friends' pretty much sticks to the top of that list."

THAT SOUNDS AWFUL.. WHAT HAPPENED?
"Well, we were at a party, of course I only had guy friends surrounding me so I thought I was safe. But not all is as it seems.. They gave me a drug and knocked me out. The next hour or so was blurry, but I could feel their hands on me, and I could hear their .. sounds. It was really disturbing. I never told my parents but before I moved to Tusla, as a Fledgling, I went and scared the crap out of them.. I suppose with them being so churchy it kind of ruined their view on Vampyres."

Overall, I liked you application because the interview-type applications really capture a character's essence. The only things I want addressed are just small, reality type of things. Numero Uno, what's her job? Briar is old enough to be out of school and I assume is living on her own because she doesn't live with her parents, so what does she do for money? Does she work at the school or do some other job? Or does she live with her aunt? and Numero Dos: I realllyy want to know what happened between her and her friends, because it seems like it might have been a character defining moment. This might just be my personal want and may not be necessary for the whole application, but I just feel like it was a big time in Briar's life and needs to be explored more. Numero Tres: WHERE DOES SHE LIVE? (did I already say that?) if you address these few things, then you'll be all wrapped up and good to go!
