PERSONALITY
likes:

• roaming around- being a very curious person, anslee likes to roam around the house of night, seeing what she can find around the place or somebody to snoop on.
  
• pulling pranks- being a mist fledging, this sort of thing anslee likes to do is really just in her nature. she finds an interest in pulling pranks and that it is a way she can easily entertain herself.
  
• acting- anslee has quite the thing for acting, whether it is just trying to get her way or simply getting onto a stage or in front of a camera. she feels it is a way she can express herself and her inner emotions.
  
• drama- as this seems to be something a lot of people come to dislike, anslee on the other hand loves drama. she feels it adds a little spice into life. a world without drama is a world without imperfections to her.
  
• reading- when anslee isn't in the mood to bother people or lurk around she likes to read, usually in her dorm room. it keeps her mind in a calm state and her soul at ease for that time being.
  

dislikes:

• posers- anslee has an interest in originality in not just only a piece of artwork or photo but also in people. it drives her insane when one person copies another, either dealing with appearances or now a days, phrases.
  
• fluorescent colors- it bothers anslee when she looks right into an object that gives off a some sort of a bright or neon color. it tends to hurt her eyes quite a bit and gets on her nerves.
  
• mossy waters- it would seem like an unusual thing to dislike, but if any body of water seems to be swamped with moss, anslee will refuse to go anywhere near it. she hates how the moss feels and it also makes her feel slightly uncomfortable, especially in deeper water. she has quite the imagination, fearing something is hiding in the moss.
  
• cola other than pepsi, anslee will not drink cola. she always gets this weird texture over the surface of her teeth after drinking a can or two, and does not like the feeling of it or how it makes her teeth look slightly brown.
  
• snitching- for a girl who loves to do mischievous things, it aggravates her when somebody snitches. Not only does it get her in trouble but it also gives the person who snitched a bad reputation in her burn book(figuratively), and once someone is given that bad reputation, anslee will attempt at taking revenge.

• intimidation (appearance/species trait)- being able to ward off enemies.
  
• being mischievous (personality/species trait)- getting what she wants (most times, there are flaws to this).

• sunlight (species trait)- being able to die in just minutes, a flaw mist fledglings seem to have.
  
• human religion (species trait)- it's just who she is as a mist fledgling, it makes her feel uncomfortable.
  
• sensory disorder (mental trait)- a disorder she was born with, getting drawn away with certain things she feels.
  

fears:

• suffering- whether it is drowning, burning or bleeding to death, in no certain way does anslee want to go through suffering. she hates feeling pain and if she had a death wish set for her, she'd wish to just be killed instantly.
  
• being stranded- even though this would hardly ever occur unless anslee was at sea and got into a ship wreck, she has a big fear in getting stranded all alone. she doesn't have much "human" knowledge to survive on her own with little choices of food or shelter. this is really kind of a bazaar thing to be scared about.
  

dreams:

• becoming an actress- acting seems to be more of a passion then something she likes to do. someday she hopes to be an actress, no matter how big or small the act will be, hoping that if she is to someday be a mist vampyre, that somehow she can fulfill this dream.
  
• accepting the change- though this seems something a lot of fledglings would dream for, anslee would trade to accept the change for anything she possesses. it wrecks her heart when she watches fledglings like herself rejecting the change. not only is it horrifying to watch, but just thinking if that was ever her... her greatest fear would come true- since fledglings seem to suffer through the rejection.
  

hobbies: strangely enough, anslee loves collecting porcelain dolls from dollmore, she finds quite an interest in them, looking almost life like and very detailed compared to all other sorts of porcelain dolls.

HISTORY

other significant family: her grandma nicivine, they were once closely bonded until anslee became a mist fledgling and went through a drastic change. being a very religious person, grandma nicivine had always hoped anslee would become just a plain old fledgling.
best memory: anslee's best memory would have to be when she first learned how to ride a bike.
worst memory: the first stages of becoming a mist fledgling. it was a disappointment to her favorite grandma.
overall history: anslee was born in a small town in maine, and after a few years she had moved to denver, colorado where she would be living in for most of her life. she has a younger sister named ana and an older brother named damon. being the middle child wasn't always a good thing for anslee and she found it rather difficult. she'd have to take care of ana while dealing with damon being over-protective and easily irritated by her. that was really how a typical family was though. except for the fact her parents didn't really care about what the three of them did.

because of negligence from her family, anslee had fallen under the influence and had gotten into drugs, alcohol and school fights by the time she was thirteen. she didn't intentionally mean to do anything bad though as she never was really educated by her parents on what was good and what was bad. when her parents had finally received a reality check when anslee had been arrested at the age of fourteen, not too long after she had started all this, they decided to make a decision. the only person her parents could turn to was her grandmother nicivine, admitting to themselves they could never truly be responsible for their children. so with just that, they sent anslee to live with grandma nicivine in tulsa, oklahoma. in just a little bit over a year, by the time anslee was sixteen, she was back to her old self, the sweet and very polite girl grandma nicivine had always loved. it wasn't long after that anslee had received a visit by achlys, or really the mist that things had taken another spin.

grandma nicivine was well aware of fledglings, vampyres and the house of night, or at least through stories she had come to believe. it had worried her when anslee was marked as a mist fledgling instead of just any old regular fledgling as she watched her go through the stages of her transformation. her demeanor had changed drastically and so had her appearance as she went from an innocent looking girl to a gothed up barbie doll so to say. once anslee had felt better, grandma nicivine had immediately sent anslee to the house of night.

her first year there was rather hard for her. she had received no calls or anything from grandma nicivine but had seen her for a short amount of time at the beginning of her fourth form. it was then when anslee realized she had been rejected from not only her parents but her favorite grandmother as well. tough times called for desperate measures for anslee as her demeanor changed even more as she became rather cold hearted. she only really felt accepted by the people in the house of night, but only for what she was, not who she was.

anslee was known as a sarcastic, stuck up, selfish girl around the house of night. it was true that she was a selfish girl as she would always play tricks or manipulate people to get her way. anslee acts the way she is because of the rejection from her loved ones, deep down anslee was really just a distraught person. to this day she is still the same exact girl she had come to be after getting marked as a mist fledgling, and her shadow still drags behind her of what she use to be.

hey Rafie and welcome to NCTT ^^ I really like Anslee, especially for the fact that she's a bitch xD but she isn't just some random, I hate the world for no reason, type of girl. I like how you developed her through her history and the connection with the grandmother gone wrong was just the icing on the cake. The only thing that I was a little worried about was the lack of explanation on the strength and weaknesses, but the personality and history made up for that (: Oh yea, and here's $25 to get you started!
