An Excerpt from the Declaration of Revelation & War
"This is our call to war. No longer shall we stand beneath the shadows
of the Authority like dogs to the slaughter. No longer shall we breathe
the toxins that the Authority calls protection. No longer will our cries
for help go unanswered. TO MANY! OUR CAUSE SEEMS UNJUST!
SELFISH! BUT TO THEM! TO THEM I SAY YOU KNOW NO
TRUE PAIN! The authority has blinded us, raped us of our rights.
They have run us like a pack of dogs who have no sight to guide them,
but I say this fellow supes and fellow man. We are no pack of ordinary
dogs. We will bite the hand that has refused to feed us. Refused to give us
the rights we want and we will take this country for ourselves. Equality is
not for men alone, nor vampire. Who are they to claim the glory? WHO
ARE THEY TO HOLD US DOWN! So I ask you brethren. Will you fight
for honor or fight for the hand that enslaves our kind...."
For years the Vampires have ruled over the shadowy world of Supernaturals. Their placement of hierarchy has kept the supernatural world at bay and their power has been undisputed. For years the United States of America has had to answer to the Authority and obey its supernatural laws. Since the Great Revelation of vampires this system of Monarchies has been undisputed and the mysterious Authority unquestioned.
Only years after the Great Revelation an even more massive Revolution in Europe rocked the natural world. Coexistance between vampire and humans was now inviting the existence of shapeshifters, werewolves and all supernaturals alike. Led by the Vampire "Mother Queen", Lucrezia Charlotte Farnese, of France the Revolution of Enlightenment took Europe by storm. It reestablished new governments which sought for equality rather than conquering.
News of the Revolution barely shocked Americans as they were too consumed with their own shock over the revelation of vampires. Yet as time went on, and the governments of Europe became more successful in their ideas of unity, rumblings of a Revolution began at the feet of the Authority.
Scarred by the memory of his beloved's death, the former magistrate, Clyde Grindlewald began seeking his retribution. Disappearing from sight he raised his army of mercenaries to release havoc upon the rule of the Authority. With the Revolution of Enlightenment only touching the shores of Alaska through Russia Grindlewald disguised his revenge with revolution.
In the wake of the Revolution of Enlightment came the Revolution of Mercenaries. Grindlewald's absolute hatred for their rules and policies has fueled him to start the underground army of supernaturals known as the Mercenaries. Supernaturals from all over the world looking for their seat of power and coursing with a range of different abilities have been recruited to take down and dismantle the rule of the authority.
What's worse is that their size and their numbers keep growing. Their lack of prejudice has acquired a diverse range of supernaturals and Grindlewald is determined to take the Authority down at all costs. Monarchs all over the country are arming themselves in fear and some are even taking sides with the ruthless group. A Revolution is about to break loose into the night and no one wants to be on the wrong side of this civil war....
